Fun Fundraising for the Museums...
The
Granville County Historical Museum has been approved for a
MissionFish
account through the "Ebay Giving Works" program.
We are so excited that in addition to receiving donations in cash that we may
now accept items that we can auction on ebay as a non-profit - and receive
the funds to benefit the museum, as well as ebay sends the donor a receipt for
their tax records. Additionally, other sellers from around the world may
select our organization to be the recipient of part/or all of the proceeds from
items they auction. This is a win-win project! We have been working
on this for two months and hope to utilize this in the next months to help raise
money for the Granville Choo Choo Project. For more
information or to donate an item to the museum to be auctioned, call Pam
Thornton at 919-693-9706. We will gladly pick up donations!
We will be planning an auction event to take place in November to kick off our fundraising so please look for an email with a link to this event. You may decide that there is something that you would like to buy that will benefit our cause!
